Hot water cylinders service in Bolton
Hot water cylinders store hot water that we use to bathe, do the dishes and perform other household tasks.
It is recommended to have a hot water cylinder serviced every year to identify issues that can be created due to hard water and faulty systems.

What are our customers saying?
Vented hot water cylinder
Vented cylinders, also known as ‘gravity fed hot water systems’ are supplied by a cold water tank kept in the loft and with the natural force of gravity, water travels through the pipes down to the hot water cylinder – hence the name.
These cylinders rely on gravity and the higher the position of the water tank, the greater the water pressure. These cylinders have a more simple design and are more affordable as a result. They are also easy to install and maintain.
Unvented hot water cylinder
Unvented cylinders do not require a water tank as water travels to the cylinder via cold water mains. The water is heated directly by an immersion heater or source from within the vessel. A temperature and pressure relief valve can be located at the top of the cylinder.
An unvented cylinder is more space-effective as storage of a water tank is not needed.
It also has a quieter operating system and lower risk of water contamination due to its sealed off design.
Direct hot water cylinder
In a direct cylinder, water is heated via an internal source or immersion heater within the cylinder. This is an option only for electrics.
Indirect hot water cylinder
In an indirect cylinder, water is heated via an external source such as a boiler. An internal coil within the cylinder will heat up the collected water.
Indirect cylinders are a cheaper alternative to direct cylinders.
